Skirt Grouting
IPI manufacturing two different styles of skirt grouting packers. The first is basically a large diameter Slip-on Casing Packer and is suitable for applications where piles are to be placed in drilled sockets. The second is similar to the standard inwards inflating skirt packers the major difference being that IPI skirt packers are installed inside the customers completed pile skirts. They are much lighter and smaller profile than standard skirt packers.
Being self-contained units that rely on the skirt strength for support. No precision machining or fabrication tolerances are required to allow insertion in standard pile skirts. To all these advantages add the fact that they offer as high integrity grouting seal as do standard designs.
